Started by former professional rugby player Hugo Gentilli in 2012, HOT Moves are a Henley based removals & storage business with a refreshing approach.

During his playing career in Australia, Hugo worked part-time for a removals company enjoying their flexible, friendly, can-do attitude.

Bringing that Aussie attitude back to the UK, he seized the opportunity to create a modern removals company, combining the can-do approach of the Aussies with the professional, efficient, service driven attitude of the Brits.

Initially many of the team were fellow players and the business still has a close association with the local rugby club giving it a strong, adaptable workforce, open to any challenges and always prepared to work hard for their customers.

Over the years HOT Moves has gained a reputation for cheerful efficiency with many customers now in their second or third moves with the company. Customers enjoy its flexible, helpful approach coupled with the teams discretion, understanding and expertise.

  • When I want to move, what is your process?

Once you know the date you’re moving into your new home or office, then is the time to call HOT Moves. We’ll arrange a visit then provide a tailored quote based on the volume of belongings you have and where you’re moving to

  • Can HOT Moves provide me with a tailored quote?

We offer a bespoke service for the individual clients’ needs, therefore we are happy to come along and offer you a more detailed, no obligation quote.

  • I have a special requirement for my move, how should I proceed?

If you have any special requirements, delicate objects, a piano or antique furniture for example, you can let us know when we visit and we will make sure to provide the best packing option and take extra care when we move you.

  • What is HOT Moves payment process?

We ask for a 50% deposit in advance and full payment upon completion of the job.

  • Will there be any additional charges?

We run standard prices within 10 miles of the RG9 area. After that there is a mileage and fuel charge depending on distance (congestion charge costs would also apply where used)

  • How do I know my items will be safe?

We are insured with Coversure for £100,000 Goods In Transit cover, meaning that in the unlikely case any of your possessions are damaged while we move them you have peace of mind the replacement value is covered. We also have full Public Liability cover.

  • Do you provide packing materials?

We certainly do, once we have an idea of the volume and type of belongings you’re moving we can provide all suitable packing cases and materials. We have a full packing service option available to our clients, where all of your packing materials are included, but for those who perhaps want to pack themselves, or have fewer items to move, you can also purchase all your packing materials from us directly. We have our very own Box Shop located up at our Head Office.

  • If I don’t want to pack myself will you do it for me?

Yes, we can provide a full packing service for all of our removals, we will include this within in your quotation and we’ll even unpack it at the other end.

  • What size household can you move?

Our flexible approach means we can move any size household or office.

  • Where can you relocate me too?

Anywhere in the UK and Ireland.
